In the year 1965, under the exquisite construction of Franker design team, ROK ceramics were born in Milan of Italy. ROK is the abbreviation of Rock, and means loftiness, perseverance, naturalness and personality. Profoundly influenced by the “Rock” culture of Ancient Roma, well-know Italian designers Valentino Paul and Maxim Smith, with their artistic life and aesthetic romance, and taking their Franker experts, designed the magnificent, exquisite, noble, energetic, fresh and massive Rock ceramics through the inspirations obtained from the noble quality and humanities spirit of Ancient Roma.
By succeeding to the permanent art of Ancient Roma, the design team changes ceramic tiles into decoration arts. Through the historic evolution, deposited cultural art is incorporated into ceramic tiles, making them more idealistic and innovative, and therefore creating the most characteristic ROK ceramics.
